Job Search and Career Workshops in Morris Offered Throughout May

Joliet Junior College’s (JJC) Workforce Development and Grundy Workforce Services are offering a series of job search and career workshops through the end of May.
The workshops will cover topics such as Internet job searching, how to develop a resume, and career assessment, planning and advising. There will also be a Workforce Investment Act (WIA) orientation and a Young Professionals Network (YPN) orientation.
A workshop geared toward professionals entering a new career, “Career Change,” will be held on Thursday, May 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Morris Area Public Library, 604 Liberty St. in Morris.
The following workshops will be held at JJC’s Morris Education Center, 1715 N. Division St.:
• Workforce Investment Act Orientation
Monday, May 21 at 10 a.m.

• Internet Basics
Tuesday, May 22 at 10 a.m.

• How to Develop a Resume
Wednesday, May 23 at 11 a.m.

• Young Professionals Orientation
Thursday, May 24 and May 31 at 1 p.m.
