Three Summer Sessions at JJC Offer Flexible Options for Students

Enrollment is currently open for Joliet Junior College’s three summer sessions that begin May 21, June 4 and July 2. Classes are available at JJC’s three campuses in Joliet and Romeoville and three education centers in Joliet, Frankfort and Morris.
Students can choose from three methods of registration: in-person, online or operator-assisted over the phone.
During the summer semester, the college emphasizes flexible options for the various audiences it serves: continuing full-time and part-time students, new students, high school students and recent high school graduates, and reverse-transfer students who complete summer classes at JJC for transfer back to their home colleges/universities.
“JJC offers three separate sessions to meet the different needs of our students,” said Susan Paddock, interim vice president of student development. “For example, the first session might be ideal for our continuing students who would like to complete a summer course early, and the second and third sessions might be a better option for our students who are coming back home from their four-year school and need to complete a summer course. Whatever your summer schedule, JJC has a class that can accommodate you. ”
A wide variety of courses is offered for the summer sessions including English, math, biology, history, sociology, music and language classes, in addition to astronomy, business, CPR, and many more.
