Culinary Arts Instructor Tim Bucci Earns Two Silver Medals at World Culinary Olympics

JJC Chef and Culinary Arts Instructor Tim Bucci and American Culinary Federation Team USA won two silver medals in the World Culinary Olympics held in Erfurt, Germany Oct. 5- 10.
 
Bucci and Team USA won the silver medals in the categories of cold food presentation and hot food- kitchen. They took sixth place overall out of 54 countries represented at the international competition.Culinary Arts Instructor Tim Bucci Earns Two Silver Medals at World Culinary Olympics
 
 
“Tim not only represented our program and this institution on the world stage, but also the millions of employees, owners and operators of America’s restaurants and foodservice operations,” said Culinary Arts Department Chair Chef Michael McGreal.
 
Bucci also competed in the 2008 World Culinary Olympics, where he won a gold medal.
