JJC Hosting Workshops on Alzheimer’s Early Detection

The JJC Plus 50 program is hosting a workshop called “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters” to help individuals recognize the signs of Alzheimer’s. The free program will be offered on three different dates:
– Thursday, Feb. 21
2-3:30 p.m.
M-104, Morris Education Center, 1715 N. Division, Morris
– Wednesday, March 27
10-11:30 a.m.
A-1061, Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Rd., Joliet
If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts. Early detection of Alzheimer’s disease gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future. This interactive workshop is presented by the Alzheimer’s Association and sponsored by the JJC Plus 50 program.
While there is no charge for this program, registration is required. Call (815) 744-0804 or visit www.alz.org/Illinois for more information and to register.
