Joliet Regional Job Fair April 12

Joliet Junior College will host its 14th Annual Joliet Regional Job Fair on Friday, April 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. on the Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet. Joliet Regional Job Fair April 12
 
Job seekers will have the opportunity to network with dozens of employers seeking candidates for full and part-time employment as well as internship and volunteer positions.
 
 
Those who plan to attend should:
• Bring 30 to 35 copies of their resume, which is required to be admitted to the fair.
• Wear appropriate interview attire
• Review the websites of the employers to learn more about the companies
 
 
Just prior to the job fair at 12:30 p.m., attendees are invited to come for “Making the Most of the Job Fair”, a presentation on last-minute tips.
 
The presentation will help job seekers successfully navigate the job fair and better communicate with employers, JJC Director of Career Services Bridgett Larkin-Beene said.
 
“We are excited to host the Joliet Regional Job Fair, and connect employers from a variety of industries to job seekers from our district,” said Larkin-Beene. “Ensuring that job seekers are prepared is a priority. We will offer numerous workshops, events and resources to help each job seeker succeed.”
 
The job fair is free and open to the public. Resumes are required for admittance to the fair.
