Renaissance Center Hosts Champagne Brunch April 21

An attendant with a cane and top hat will greet guests as they enter Joliet Junior College’s Renaissance Center for a champagne brunch on Sunday, April 21 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The Renaissance Center is located at 214 North Ottawa St. in Joliet.
Some features of the April 21 brunch will include an omelet and scramble action station, a make-your-own-breakfast scrambler, and a toaster station. Roast beef, champagne breast of chicken, and desserts, among other food options (listed below) will also be available. JJC’s executive chefs and student workers prepare all the entrees.
“The champagne brunch allows families and friends to come together to enjoy a delightful brunch with favorites for everyone including a chef-carved entrée, artistic salads, and much more complimented with chilled champagne,” said Susan Stockwell, supervisor of the Renaissance Center.
Stockwell said the brunch is a great time for the community to view the JJC facility, which was built in 1925. She added that the center is often used as a reception hall for weddings or other banquet events.
