JJC Invites Community to ‘A Christmas Carol’ Nov. 21-24

The Joliet Junior College Fine Arts Department invites the community to a performance of “A Christmas Carol,” on the Main Campus in the Fine Arts Theatre, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet, on Nov. 21-23 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 23-24 at 2 p.m.

"A Christmas Carol," will be performed at JJC Nov. 21-24.

The play, directed by Tammy Perkins, is a Christmas classic about Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey through his Christmas past, present and future.

“A Christmas Carol” is stage managed by Ashleigh Hresan of Shorewood and assisted by Katherine Kozlowski of Plainfield and Cailea Styx of Joliet.

The cast includes: Shane Tierney, Paul Zavala, Miguel Garcia and Gabrielle Haywood of Joliet, Chris Walusek of Mokena, Bobby Smith of Minooka, Raphael Hernandez, Rob Kornaus and Nick Pappas of Plainfield, Darren Sander, Natalia Kopec and Andrea Concaildi od New Lenox, Alison Blanton of Peotone, Seamus Wray of Manhattan, Jake Thomas of Frankfort, Abner Gutierrez-Herrera of Crest Hill, Jessica Hargis of Lockport, Becca Sadler of Homer Glen, Stephen White of Morris and Nick Homberg of Tinley Park.

Tickets are available through the JJC Theatre Box Office at 815-280-2200.  Ticket prices are $8 for the general public, $5 for senior citizens and $3 for students with additional discounted tickets for JJC faculty and staff.  The JJC box office now accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover debit cards, checks and cash.

As part of the college’s ongoing community service project, audience members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, pet supplies, or pet food to the production where they may be exchanged for items at the concession table. All contributions will be donated to area shelters.
