The Joliet Junior College alumni board invites the community to submit nominations for the Distinguished Alumni and Susan H. Wood Hall of Fame awards. Both awards will be presented at the 33rd annual Alumni Brunch on Sunday, June 1.
The Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor bestowed upon an alumna/alumnus of JJC. It is presented to a JJC alum who has demonstrated outstanding success in their chosen field, as well as provided humanitarian service to society. Nominees must: be living at the time of their nomination, have earned a degree from JJC, and have demonstrated an interest in support of higher education, especially JJC.
The Susan H. Wood Hall of Fame Award recognizes a non-alumna/alumnus of JJC who is a current or former faculty member, administrator or friend of the college. Nominees must: have served JJC in an exceptional way, be active in professional and community organizations, and be a dedicated, caring, compassionate and accomplished professional.
