JJC Bookstore Collecting Donations for Local Charities

The JJC Bookstore is accepting donations of new, gently used, or handmade hats, gloves, mittens and scarves for local Joliet charities, Daybreak Shelter and Lambs Fold. Students, staff and faculty may drop off donations at select locations now until Dec. 12.

A donation box is located at the JJC Bookstore, but other collection sites can be found in the following offices on the Main Campus: Fine Arts, Technical, Math, English, Multicultural Student Affairs, Project Achieve, Agriculture, Nursing, Facility Services, Human Resources, and the Office of Student Activities.

Donation boxes can also be found at the Romeoville Campus and the Morris Campus.

Hats and gloves can be conveniently purchased at the JJC Bookstore.

Daybreak Shelter provides emergency housing and supportive services to those who are homeless. Lambs Fold is a center that provides supportive housing and recovery services to homeless and abused women and children.

For more information about making a donation, contact Cindy, Jim or Beth at the bookstore at 815-280-2288.
