For those who didn’t get a chance to sign up for classes at Joliet Junior College this spring, there’s still time to register for late start classes that will begin in late January, February, March or April. Both online and on-campus late start classes are still available, some of which are only four to eight weeks long. In addition to credit late start classes, students can register for non-credit lifelong learning classes that begin later this semester as well.
Some academic late start classes available include General Psychology (PSYC 101); History – U.S. to 1865 (HIST 103); Medical Terminology (BIO 100); and Computer Basics (CIS 101). Lifelong learning classes still available include Social Security 101 (LLC 4751); Creative Writing (LLC 3964); and Beekeeping (LLC 4588).
To search more classes with a late start, visit www.jjc.edu/class-schedule, select “Spring 2015,” for the term, and click the “Late Start” checkbox.
Students can not only save thousands of dollars by completing their first two years of college at JJC as opposed to a four-year school, they can apply for financial aid and scholarships to help pay for college.
