Joliet Junior College Workforce Development and Grundy Workforce Services invites local job seekers to the Grundy County Regional Job Fair, which will feature 50 employers, on Wednesday, April 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Minooka Community High School South Campus, 26655 W. Eames St., in Channahon. A variety of industries will be represented, including warehousing, manufacturing, financial, health care and more. No registration is necessary.
“The Grundy County Regional Job Fair is a great opportunity to connect job seekers with local employers. For the past 10 years, JJC Workforce Development and Grundy Workforce Services have strengthened that connection by listening and responding to the needs of our community,” said Griselda Martinez, office manager for JJC Grundy Workforce Services.
Martinez said employers are searching for a mix of candidates, from entry-level to experienced workers. A full listing of participating employers can be found at www.grundyworkforce.com.

The job fair is funded by the Grundy Livingston Kankakee Workforce Board and is in partnership with a number of organizations including the Illinois Department of Employment Security, the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce, the Community Foundation of Grundy County and the Grundy Economic Development Council.
