Enroll Now for JJC’s Fall Semester: Classes Start Aug. 24

The 2015 fall semester at JJC is just around the corner, starting Aug. 24, which means that now is a great time to schedule an appointment with a counselor, register for classes and get a schedule confirmed before classes are filled.

“You really don’t want to wait until mid-August to sign up for classes,” said Director of Admissions Jennifer Kloberdanz. “Fall is our busiest semester, so you’ll likely find that many classes will already be full and you’ll have a hard time getting the schedule you want. We encourage folks to come in now to plan for the fall semester.”

Students can not only save thousands of dollars by completing their first two years of college at JJC as opposed to a four-year school, they can apply for financial aid and scholarships to help pay for college.

In addition to a wide variety of transfer degrees and programs, JJC offers career and technical programs such as nursing, paramedic, fire science technology, culinary arts, veterinary medical technology, and many more.

“There is no typical student at JJC,” Kloberdanz added. “We serve students of all ages and can help everyone make a plan to complete their educational goals at JJC, whether it’s preparing to transfer or training for a new career.”

If already a JJC student, students can go directly to eResources on the JJC website to register for classes. If someone is interested in taking classes but has not yet applied to JJC, or it has been more than one year since they took classes at the college, they will need to first complete the application process at www.jjc.edu/info/admissions.
