High school students, their parents and adults thinking about returning to school can explore and meet representatives from more than 100 different colleges and universities at Joliet Junior College’s annual College Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on the Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.
In addition to exploring different colleges, attendees can go to free financial aid seminars that will be hosted at the fair. Two sessions in English will take place at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. in U-1022. One session in Spanish will take place at 6:30 p.m. in U-1007.
“The College Fair is a perfect opportunity to get all your questions answered by many college and university representatives all in one night,” said JJC Recruitment Specialist Rosa Salazar.
Those attending should enter through the Campus Center (A-Building) or the Health Professons Center (U-Building). JJC’s College Fair brought more than 2,000 visitors to JJC last year.
High school counselors will also be available to prospective students during the fair. Located in the C- and T-Buildings, they will answer questions about colleges, career options, and provide general information about the schools in attendance.
Visitors can find the JJC booth located near the Campus Center Cafeteria during the fair.
