The community is invited to several showings of the Joliet Junior College Fine Arts Department’s production of “The Rocky Horror Show,” directed by JJC Fine Arts Professor Clay Kirkland, on Feb. 25-27 at 7:30 p.m.; Feb. 27 at 11 p.m.; and Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. in the Fine Arts Theatre on JJC’s Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.
The classic musical, an adult-themed story filled with adventure and catchy tunes, follows a recently engaged couple that stumbles upon the castle of Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter, who is hosting a party to unveil his latest creation: Rocky.
The cast includes: Adrielle Tardecilla of Crest Hill as an usherette and Transylvanian; Glen Soper of Wilmington as Brad; Claudia Rojos of Romeoville as Janet; Austin Cummings of Wilmington as Narrator; Jordan Willner of Joliet as Riff Raff; Elizabeth Cronin of Custer Park as Magenta; Hope Taylor of Minooka as Columbia; Juan Munoz of Coal City as Frank ‘N’ Furter; Triston Dircks of Dwight as Rocky; Tyler Rodgers of Coal City as Eddie and a Transylvanian; George Miller of Morris as Dr. Scott and a Transylvanian; and Emilie Belluomini of Minooka, Shawntiqua Cowan of Bolingbrook, and Alex Kulak of Elwood as Transylvanians. Melanie Morris of Wilmington is the stage manager and Abigail Cash of Coal City and Ashley Lopez of Oswego are assistant stage managers.
