The Joliet Junior College Fine Arts Department will present a production of the romantic comedy, “6 Rms Riv Vu,” directed by JJC Theatre Technical Supervisor Nicki Blowers, on April 14 to 16 and 20 to 23 at 7:30 p.m.; and April 16, 17 and 23 at 2 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre on JJC’s Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.
In this story, Paul and Anne – both happily married to other people – discover a mutual attraction for one another when they get locked inside a vacant six-room, river-view apartment complex on Manhattan’s Riverside Drive. Broadway playwright Bob Randall wrote this play in 1972.
The cast includes: Melanie Morris of Wilmington; Jacob Esposito of Dwight; Ana Ante of Lockport; Adrielle Tardecilla of Crest Hill; Austin Wayne of Wilmington; Kadedra Dobyne of Joliet; Bobby Smith of Shorewood; Katria Muse of Homewood; Elizabeth Cronin of Custer Park; Shawntiqua Cowan of Bolingbrook; Neaya Allen of Romeoville; and Eric Zelisho of Bolingbrook. This production’s stage manager is Hope Taylor of Channahon. The assistant stage manager is Jordan Willner of Joliet.
