Renaissance Center to Shut Down for Remodeling of Facility

As part of its Master Plan for the City Center Campus, Joliet Junior College will begin a new phase of extensive remodeling at the Renaissance Center starting May 16. The facility will be shut down through January of 2017.

The Renaissance Center remodeling will include:

–           Cosmetic upgrades including paint, carpet and lighting throughout the venue

–           New floor for the ballroom

–           Reconfiguration of space for new offices

Culinary Arts faculty currently based in the Renaissance Center will temporarily move to J-Building on Main Campus. For the duration of the remodeling, the small parking lot directly in front of the Renaissance Center on the west side will be shut down.
