Fundraising efforts included the department’s annual fine dining events, the Farm-to-Fork Dinner this past September and the Spring Gala in April.

Each scholarship awarded will be valued between $1,000 and $500, with winners chosen later this summer. There are currently 250 students enrolled in JJC’s culinary arts program.

The Farm-to-Fork Dinner is an outdoor event where culinary students prepare in-season, local food for up to 200 guests. The Spring Gala, a fine dining event for 90 guests, allows students to showcase what they have learned throughout the year.
