JJC Fine Arts Presents Faculty Jazz Quintet Musica Viva Concert Oct. 16

The Joliet Junior College Fine Arts Department will present the October installment of its Musica Viva concert series featuring the JJC Faculty Jazz Band Quintet on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. in the JJC Fine Arts Theatre, located on the Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet. Admission is free and the public is invited.

The Faculty Jazz Band Quintet includes: Rich Moore, saxophone; Dave Nuccio, piano; Steve Jacobson, guitar; Adam Cowger, drums and cymbals; and John Lauler, bass. The group is directed by Rich Moore.

The Joliet Junior College Musica Viva Concert series has provided excellent musical offerings to the college and community for many years, always free-of-charge. Typically held at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoons during the fall and spring semesters at JJC’s Main Campus, the series has featured outstanding national and international guest artists, JJC faculty and JJC alumni. For the 2016-2017 season, Musica Viva offers seven exciting concerts. The Musica Viva Concert series is generously supported by the JJC Foundation and members of the JJC community.
