Joliet Junior College will host a special New and Transfer Student event on Friday, October 14 for former ITT Tech students from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.
Faculty and staff from various departments will be on hand to provide customized assistance for individual student needs regarding academic programs and transfers, financial aid, student support services, and more.
The event will follow an open house format—ITT Tech students are encouraged to stop in between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Oct. 14 to meet with faculty and staff to understand next steps for getting enrolled for spring semester. The event will be held in the board room on the Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.
“Our team can help ensure these students are ready to continue their coursework at JJC for the spring semester and provide personalized assistance tailored to each student’s needs and situation,” Kelly Rohder, college spokeswoman, said.
Former ITT Tech nursing students are also encourage to attend to learn about different allied health pathways using the credits they’ve already earned.
The best part is that the first 40 ITT Tech transfer students to register at JJC for the spring semester will receive $750 of financial assistance to apply toward their JJC education, thanks to the support of the JJC Foundation. To be eligible for this financial opportunity, ITT Tech transfer students need to enroll in a minimum of nine credit hours. Don’t delay—deadline to apply is Dec. 15, 2016.
