JJC Student Government Hosts Forum for Board Candidates on March 30

JJC Student Government is hosting an open forum for candidates running in the election for the JJC Board of Trustees on Thursday, March 30 at 3 p.m. in the U-Building Auditorium on Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet. Students and employees are invited to attend.

For the April 4, 2017 consolidated election, a total of 10 individuals are on the ballot for four seats on the board: two two-year terms, and two six-year terms. Sadly, one of the candidates, former JJC Trustee Sue Klen passed away suddenly on March 7.

The candidates who have so far committed to attending the forum include: Alicia Morales, Dan O’Connell, Patty Deiters, Philip Juarez, Robert Bodach, Margaret Hornung and George Gaspar.
