Register Now: Fall Classes at JJC Begin Aug. 21

New and returning students can now register for Joliet Junior College fall semester classes, which will start Monday, Aug. 21. With this new semester comes the opening of JJC’s Romeoville campus expansion, an addition that will include more labs, classrooms and services for students.

Fall classes begin on Aug. 21 at Joliet Junior College.

Classes will also be available at JJC’s other locations in downtown Joliet (City Center), in Morris, and at the Weitendorf Agricultural Education Center. Online classes and hybrid classes (a mixture of both classroom and online) are convenient class options for students as well.

By choosing JJC, students will save thousands of dollars compared to a four-year institution – and they can still apply for financial aid and scholarships.

JJC offers a wide variety of transfer degrees and programs, but students can also study for many two-year, in-demand degree training programs, including JJC’s first responder program (firefighter, paramedic or police officer), culinary arts, orthotics/prosthetics, personal trainer, sonography, automotive service technology and more.

Current JJC students can register online via eResources. New students, or those who haven’t taken classes at JJC in more than one year, will first need to complete the application process at

JJC offers free counseling, academic advising, tutoring and career support services to make it easier for students to complete their educational goals. The college also offers the online tool “My Degree Progress” so that students can easily track their progress toward completing their degree or certificate program.
