Come Discover Joliet Junior College Nov. 4

For anyone considering college or a new career path, Discover JJC on Saturday, Nov. 4 is the perfect opportunity to learn about everything Joliet Junior College has to offer. The college-wide open house runs from 9 a.m. to noon on the Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.

Representatives from campus departments will provide attendees with information on how to get started at JJC, work through the financial aid process and learn about the many scholarships available at JJC.

“It is a great opportunity to not only come out and see the campus, but also to speak directly to the academic department that you are interested in,” said JJC Recruitment Specialist Sue Callans. ”Our programs can lead students directly to employment or successful transfer to a four-year school.”

Attendees are invited to take self-guided tours of Main Campus and visit the various departments, where representatives will be available to explain and showcase their programs.

Schedule of events:

    • JJC President Dr. Judy Mitchell
  •  Getting Started on the Pathway to Success: 9:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m, U-Building Auditorium
